Lip rugs welcome at TONIGHT’S Mustache Bash!

Who’s going to join us for Shopgood’s annual Mustache Bash TONIGHT? Bring your friends and family, grab a couple of tacos or a cold beer, listen to some of the best of OKC’s local music scene, and spend a summer evening lounging under a giant tent with the rest of the neighborhood.

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011
4 pm – 12 am
9th Street in downtown OKC

This year’s event benefits Sunbeam Family Services, a nonprofit organization that has served children, families and seniors for over 100 years from right here in downtown OKC. Your presence at the party will help support Sunbeam’s Early Head Start Program at Emerson Alternative High School, where teen moms with young children are getting great education, and the encouragement they need to graduate.

Warby Parker will be at the bash, debuting their new sunwear collection! And don’t forget to ’stache it up by growing or crafting your own facial fuzz. Shopgood will have mustaches at the party you can buy with a donation to Sunbeam, plus a photobooth to commemorate your sweet lip rug.

VDub Sessions #31: Artist Moses White

The line between music and art gets a little more blurry thanks to Moses White.

The Oklahoma City-based artist visited with us at Live on the Plaza last month, and he shared his artwork in the Spywagon.

Give the episode a look see to learn how White combines his two loves.

And come on out to this month’s LIVE on the Plaza this Friday, August 12!
